Technology:
Since 1997, I have built my technology career. I brought Southern Land Company and Kirksey to the technological forefront of the architectural profession; I spearheaded several advancements, including the conversion of office CAD platforms from conventional 2D drafting to 3D/4D/5D object-oriented BIM technology using ArchiCAD and the creation of in-house Visualization Departments. Internationally renowned in my field, I have been published in many professional journals and publications and am regularly invited to speak at related functions. I currently consult with companies requiring my BIM expertise.
Leadership:
At Southern Land Company and Kirksey, I stepped into a variety of leadership roles. At both companies, I created a Power User Group, training methods, and proprietary software documentation to facilitate/support implementation of BIM. At Kirksey, I co-chaired the Project Delivery Committee and chaired the Automation Committee.
Architecture:
Prior to my current focus on technology, I worked as an architect and project architect/manager in the Midwest and Texas. My experience includes work on healthcare, assisted-living, correctional, collegiate, religious, public, industrial, laboratory, commercial, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, single-family and multi-family residential projects.
