Jasper Lainez Laguerta

A BIM catalyst and very passionate on how technology improves the AEC industry, he had been involved driving BIM in his practice of architecture and related engineering and construction field for more than 6 years. With his exposure in a diversified professional career, he is uniquely qualified as a BIM Architectural Consultant. His professional background has allowed him to effectively serve as a BIM Project Manager for NovaCITYNETS. His professional experience has been diverse engaging in BIM project management, architectural building design projects, and BIM implementation for various organizations and providing lectures on BIM software for consultants, firms and universities. His professional expertise is concentrated in leading professional team who are consistently delivering results through handling BIM projects, providing professional consultancy & BI-Modeling services, providing software technical supports and teaching BIM application courses. Complementing that, he has a comprehensive experience in architectural consultancy in Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and UAE. Related to those work, he applied BIM concept to become highly competitive resulting to increased production within a short period of time. He also collaborated with the Building Construction Authority in Singapore and formulated the template for 3D BIM submission using Archicad platform and conducted seminar for the 9 government regulatory agencies for 3D BIM Submission checking in BCA Academy. He was also involved in some pilot projects test to refine the 3D BIM Submission template. He graduated from Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture, awarded rank 8th Best Thesis and won some design competitions during his study.
